DJR’s Carpet Cleaning Procedure:
Step 1: Pre-Inspection and Written Quote
Our IICRC Certified Technician will do a walk through inspection with you to identify soiling conditions, carpet construction and potential permanent stains. Furthermore, we will give you a written quote before any work is begun.
Step 2: Pre-Vacuum
Our carpet cleaners will pre-vacuum your carpet to remove bonded, dry soil.
Step 3: Furniture Moving
Done Just Right Cleaning moves sofas, love seats, chairs and any small tables after they are clear of all items. We leave your beds, dressers and heavier pieces in place. Because of liability reasons, we do not move china hutches, entertainment systems, pianos or other valuable belongings.
Step 4: Pre-Spray, Pre-Spot
Our trained technicians will pre-treat traffic areas and spots.
Step 5: Pre-Groom and Wipe Baseboards
DJR will groom your carpet beforehand with a carpet groomer or rotary cleaning machine (depending on soil level). We do this to further loosen traffic area soil by one of our trained experts. Afterwards, we will wipe your baseboards clean.
Step 6: Extract-Rinse-Neutralize
Once the soil is loose, our state of the art, truck-mounted hot water extraction cleaning process will thoroughly neutralize and rinse the carpet. Pressure and heat regulates the carpet to prevent from being over-wet.
Step 7: Post-Spot Treatment
If the carpet cleaning process does not remove the spots, we will then employ specialty spotting techniques to aid in their removal. Note: The technician will identify if a potential permanent stain may not removable.
Step 8: Applying Scotchgard Protector (optional)
DJR highly recommends treating your carpet with carpet protector after every carpet cleaning. Carpet protector helps keep dry soil and oily residues from sticking to the carpet fibers. To further assist you, our cleaning technicians will give you a free estimate and explain further benefits to you.
Step 9: Post-Grooming
We will then set the carpet in one direction to aid the drying process.
Step 10: Post Inspection
